The hair collected is classifed as remy hair, meaning that all the cuticles are facing the same direction, giving a smooth, tangle-free result. is is achieved through keeping the hair in their original bundles throughout the entire process.
Chemical-free technology
Through a patented osmosis production process, Great Lengths lightens the hair extensions without the use of bleach or damaging chemicals. Great Lengths is the only company that does not use any toxic chemicals (i.e. ammonia and/or bleach derivatives) in the de-pigmentation and pigmentation process of the hair.
Depigmentation and colorisation, toxic-free
The hair is placed in osmosis baths for up to 20 days to slowly draw out the dark pigments. Then using a sophisticated colourisation method, colour pigment is inserted into the hair cuticle creating over 50 shades of long-lasting hair colour.
Brushed by artisan craftsmen
Each bundle of hair is carefully selected and blended by colour specialists in Rome, to achieve depth and authentic looking colour in the extensions. It is then hand brushed to remove any single strands that are either too long or too short. Leaving only the perfect lengths for the individual hair extensions.
Organic, damage-free bonds
Keratin bonds are attached to top of the single stands. Made from a natural substance, the bond will move with your hair allowing it to stretch and release without breaking it. The keratin bond will also be able to withstand heat, water and sunlight, so you can enjoy your hair extensions, without the worry of them damaging your hair.
